The same converter, on your own machine
Unzip it, double-click it, convert statements with the network cable out. EUR 49 once — every machine at your firm, forever, no subscription and no account.
🔒 The web version is free and always will be. This one is for the firms that are not allowed to use a website for client data, and for the ones who want a copy that cannot be taken away.
Why pay for something the website does free
Three reasons, and if none of them is true for you then the free converter is the right tool and you should keep using it.
- Your policy does not allow a web tool for client data. QBOKit converts in the browser and uploads nothing, but "nothing is uploaded" is a claim a compliance review has to take on trust. A copy on your own disk removes the question: there is no server to trust, and the page makes no network requests at all — it works with wifi switched off, which is how you can check that in ten seconds.
- It keeps working. Websites change, get bought, add logins, put things behind a subscription or vanish. The folder you downloaded does what it did on the day you bought it, for as long as you keep it.
- Locked-down machines and no-install rules. There is nothing to install: it is an HTML file and some scripts in a folder. It runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with no admin rights, no runtime, nothing in the background and no licence key to type.
What it does
- In: bank CSV (comma, semicolon or tab), Excel
.xlsx, a text PDF statement, or an existing.QBO,.OFXor.QFXfile. - Out:
.QBOWeb Connect for QuickBooks Desktop and Online,.QFXfor Quicken,.OFX,.QIF, or a cleaned import-ready CSV. - The bank's own codes. FID and INTU.BID filled in from Intuit's published institution directory — about 9,000 institutions, included in the download — so QuickBooks stops saying it cannot verify the financial institution.
- Re-imports that actually import. Stamp fresh transaction ids on every row so a statement QuickBooks has already seen goes in again instead of silently disappearing.
- Balance check. If the statement carries a running balance, every amount is checked against it and you are told how many movements agree before you download anything.
- Many files at once. Drop in a month of client exports and get every converted file back, each one detected on its own terms.
It does not read scans or photos (no OCR). It does not talk to your bank and it files nothing with Intuit: it writes a file and you import that file yourself.
Try it free first, then buy it
Run your most awkward statement through the free web version right now. It is the same code: if the web version converts your file correctly, so does the download, and if it does not then do not buy this.
EUR 49 once. Firm-wide licence, perpetual, no subscription. The download starts the moment the payment clears.
Buy the Offline Edition — EUR 49
Card, and whatever else Stripe offers in your country. You get a VAT receipt from Stripe. If it will not read a statement the web version handles, email hello@qbokit.com and you get your money back — tell us the bank and the symptom, never the statement itself.
Bought it and lost the download? Email the same address from the address you paid with and we will send the file.
Questions
How is it delivered?
A ZIP file, about 1 MB, straight after payment. Unzip it anywhere and double-click
QBOKit.html.
Does it need an internet connection, ever?
No, not even the first time. Everything it needs — the converter, the institution directory, the PDF reader — is inside the folder.
How many people can use it?
Everyone at the firm that bought it, on as many machines as you like. Please do not resell or republish it.
Do I get updates?
Email hello@qbokit.com with a bank name and a symptom and the fixed build comes back to you free. There is no update server and nothing phones home.
What if I would rather someone just did it for me?
That is Fix my import: you send the error message and the header row, never the statement, and pay only once it works.
